Consistently voted one of the best diving destinations, Cozumel offers unparalleled reef diving, especially at Palancar. The island's underwater wonders include the world's second-largest reef network, featuring limestone caves tunnels. You can explore the famous "Devil's Throat", which starts at the opening of a dark narrow tunnel at 90 feet, and leaves you in a sunlit opening at 130 feet on the wall. Marine life for the island includes large barracuda, eagle rays, sharks, loggerhead turtles and Cozumel's own toadfish. Generally visibility is excellent, with water ttemperatures ranging from 77 - 82 F throughout the year.
